JOB TITLE : Regional Sales Director

REPORTS TO : National Sales Director

STATUS : Full-time / Exempt

LOCATION : West Region - Arizona, Utah, Colorado, California; Los Angeles / Torrance, CA preferred.

JOB PURPOSE :

Collaborate with executive team in the development and execution of strategy to drive growth for KHUS products which requires strategic thinking, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the beverage industry. Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy, build relationships with key partners, and manage regional sales team to drive revenue growth.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive regional sales strategy that aligns with the overall business goals
  • Identify new growth opportunities
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals, ensuring they meet their targets and KPIs
  • Develop effective sales campaigns, promotions, and product launches
  • Oversee the sales efforts for KHUS products ensuring each brand reaches its full potential
  • Manage relationships with distributors, retailers, and other key partners to maximize product availability and visibility
  • Ensure alignment in terms of market positioning, pricing strategies, and promotional activities
  • Execute to achieve sales goals, including revenue targets and market share growth
  • Track sales performance, analyze trends, and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retail accounts, and other key stakeholders
  • Identify new customer segments and sales channels, including retail, on-premise, and online markets
  • Act as a key representative of the company at industry events, trade shows, and in customer meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or related field preferred
  • 10+ years proven experience in sales management in the beverage or CPG industries
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, strategic planning, and managing sales teams
  • Extensive knowledge of the beverage market, specifically sales and marketing dynamics
  • Strong analytical capabilities to evaluate marketing performance and drive data-informed decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability and flexibility to travel as required based on business need

    Below is required posting and listing information under the California Mandated Pay Scale Disclosure :

    1. Compensation

    This position is an exempt, salaried position. Salary offered is based on relevant sales experience at the time of hire. General range of starting salary is $165,000 - $200,000.

    2. Additional Compensation

    This position MAY be eligible to participate in the following additional compensation via a bonus program.

    3. Employment Benefits

    Kowa offers a wide variety of benefits to all employees. Kowa offers company paid benefits to include short term disability, long term disability, and an employee life insurance policy.

    Employees are eligible to participate in Kowa's 401K plan following 90 days of employment to include a company match.

    Kowa offers monthly accrued Paid Time Off in addition to leadership approved holidays.

    This position is eligible to receive a company car following completion of training.
