Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Telepractice

Location : Lake Charles, LA

Setting : K-12 School

Position Type : Contract

A contract opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist skilled in telepractice is available within a K-12 school environment. This role involves supporting students across all grade levels through remote speech-language therapy sessions.

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct teletherapy sessions to assess and treat speech, language, voice, and communication disorders remotely
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
  • Collaborate with educators and parents to monitor student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student records
  • Ensure compliance with applicable policies and guidelines regarding remote service delivery

Qualifications :

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in the state of Louisiana
  • Experience providing speech therapy services to children in a K-12 educational setting
  • Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and technology used for remote speech-language services
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and collaborate with school staff
  • Ability to manage scheduling and maintain documentation in a virtual environment
