Now hiring Quality Inspector for a full-time temporary to permanent position in Norwood, MA.

Responsibilities of Quality Inspector :

  • Inspect Incoming Materials received from vendors for approval
  • Reject and return unacceptable materials
  • Perform First Article inspection
  • Communicate required adjustments to production department supervisor before final approval
  • Inspect finished products by confirming specifications
  • Conduct visual and measurement test
  • Returning products for re-work
  • Escalate any quality issues to quality manager or production manager
  • Maintain all necessary documentation and logs
  • perform other general manufacturing related tasks as assigned

Requirements of Quality Inspector :

  • Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent

    • Must have past experience in Quality control and / or quality assurance

  • Previous manufacturing, wire and cable harness, and electrotechnical assemblies experience preferred
  • Able to follow both written and verbal instructions
  • Excellent Hand eye coordination and attention to detail
  • Great communication and computer skills
  • Ability to read tape measure that just has the ticks
  • Good Organizational and time management skills
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs on regular basis, 50 lbs on occasion

    • Hours : 7 : 00am-3 : 30 pm Monday-Friday

    Pay Rate : $18.00-$21.00 / hr
