University of Miami is seeking a Ultrasound Technologist Level III for a job in Plantation, Florida.

Up to $5,000 Sign on Bonus
Work Shift : 40 hrs. per week M-F 8 : 00AM -5 : 00PM
Work Location : University of Miami Hospital & Clinics - UHealth Plantation, Plantation, FL
Searches for abnormalities in blood flow sounds, heart rhythm, oxygen saturation, and the appearance of the heart.
Positions patients and explains procedures. Performs quality control functions.
Evaluates ultrasounds for diagnostic quality. Prepares and sets up medical supplies using aseptic techniques.
Develops ultrasound film and matches it with the appropriate paperwork for interpretation.
Assists with the maintenance and compilation of statistical data.
Provides training to new and student cardiac ultrasound technologists.
Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS
Education :
Associate’s degree in relevant field
Certification and Licensing :
ARDMS credentialing body RDCS license or CCI credentialing body RCS license
Experience :
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes :
Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.
Ability to work independently and / or in a collaborative environment.
Ability to lead, motivate, develop and train others.
