Correctional Mental Health Counselor - Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) / Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) | Colorado Travel or Local

Pay : $2,700–$2,900 / week | 40 hrs / week | Day Shifts (Mon–Fri)

Locations : Canon City

  • Pueblo
  • Sterling
  • Buena Vista

Contract : 13 Weeks | Option to Extend

Correctional Mental Health Counselor - LCSW / LPC Job Details :

  • Provide individual and group counseling in correctional or forensic settings.
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop treatment plans.
  • Document progress and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Support patients with substance use, trauma, and co-occurring disorders.
  • Apply DSM-V diagnostic criteria to guide evidence-based treatment.

    • Correctional Mental Health Counselor - LCSW / LPC Qualifications :

  • Active CO License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker ( LCSW ) OR Licensed Professional Counselor ( LPC ).
  • 2 Years of mental health experience; corrections, forensics, and / or drug and addiction counseling experience preferred.
  • Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
