Job Title : Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our healthcare team. The MLT will be responsible for collecting, preparing, and analyzing patient specimens while ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with laboratory standards. The ideal candidate should be reliable, organized, and committed to supporting patient care through precise laboratory testing.

Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Collect, prepare, and process patient specimens (blood, urine, stool, tissue).
  • Perform routine laboratory tests in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and immunology.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and analyzers.
  • Verify, document, and report accurate test results in the Lab Information System (LIS).
  • Conduct quality control procedures and equipment calibration.
  • Follow all laboratory safety guidelines and regulatory standards (CLIA / OSHA).
  • Maintain proper labeling, tracking, and storage of all specimens.
  • Communicate critical or abnormal results to medical providers promptly.
  • Assist with training new staff as needed.

    • Requirements :

  • Proven experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician or relevant clinical laboratory role.
  • Knowledge of standard laboratory procedures, testing methodologies, and medical terminology.
