Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a Learning Specialist in a center-based special education setting at a high school located in Gresham, OR. This role involves supporting 27-28 students with special education needs in a structured academic environment.

Responsibilities :

• Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and administrative staff to implement effective educational plans.
• Monitor and document student progress and participate in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that fosters student growth and engagement.
• Manage caseload effectively while adapting strategies to meet student goals.
