Part-Time Toddler Nanny

We are a family located in North Barrington, Chicago, seeking a reliable part-time nanny to care for our sweet and active 15-month-old boy. This opportunity is ideal for college students studying education, nursing, child development, psychology, or similar fields, especially those enrolled in hybrid/online programs seeking consistent weekday hours. The role involves one-on-one care for our toddler, engaging in age-appropriate play indoors and outdoors, preparing simple meals, and supporting his pre-nap routine. While he naps, you will assist with light household tasks such as tidying common areas and organizing. We seek someone safety-focused, attentive, and playful, with prior experience caring for toddlers independently. The ability to be the primary caregiver during shifts and a minimal-phone-use approach are essential. The ideal schedule is Monday-Thursday, approximately 8:00am-12:00pm, though there is flexibility in hours and days. The position offers 12-16 hours per week, with a pay rate of $22-26 per hour, depending on experience. Candidates should value reliability, communication, and a calm, patient approach.
