HiFyve is hiring a CNC Swiss Lathe Programmer in the precision Manufacturing industry in Kansas City, MO!
Salary : $30 - $38 / hr
Shift : 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM, Monday to Friday
Location : Kansas City, MO
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Develop programs for new parts on multi-axis Swiss lathes
- Create setup plans for Swiss turning centers
- Interpret technical drawings and ensure machines are set correctly
- Adjust cutting paths and optimize machining processes
- Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues
- Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications
- Maintain tooling, perform basic machine maintenance, and support process improvements
- Train operators on machine operation and program requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow established safety and quality standards
