Job Title : Business Analyst

Salary : $75,000 - $95,000 Based on Experience

Location : Burlington, MA (Hybrid schedule : 3 days in-office, 2 days remote)

Employment Type : Full Time

What will the Business Analyst do?

Partner with internal teams to identify and implement process and system improvements across core and supporting business applications

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for system enhancements and operational refinements

Draft user stories and technical specifications to guide IT development and operations

Facilitate stakeholder sessions to capture business needs and define priorities

Support backlog management and collaborate with IT to ensure successful delivery of enhancements

Create and maintain process documentation including SOPs, workflows, and user guides

Assist in the rollout of new system features, ensuring clarity, alignment, and user adoption

Provide insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiency through technology

Ensure compliance with company security and regulatory policies

Maintain a positive and engaging work environment through empathetic communication and collaboration

Adhere to company standards and support cross-departmental initiatives

What the company needs in a Business Analyst :

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or Associate's degree with 1-2 years of relevant experience

Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills

Ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences

Experience with ticketing systems, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint preferred

Industry experience in insurance, financial services, or healthcare is desirable

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and writing user stories is preferred

Bonus Points :

CBAP, PMI-PBA, CSM, or similar certification

Experience supporting IT or system enhancement projects

Interest in driving digital transformation and process optimization
