If you have additional questions, contact recruiter at : Medical Group is recruiting a BC / BE Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Endocrinology team in Springfield, IL. HSHS Medical Group works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System. Practice Highlights : - Monday - Friday weekly schedule, 4 or 5 day schedule option- No holidays or weekends- Well established, growing practice- Dietician and Diabetic Educator on staff to address all patient needs- Dedicated support staff to assist with practice flow- EPIC EMRPosition Requirements : - Unrestricted Illinois license and DEA prior to start- Board Certified- 2+ years of Endocrinology or Diabetic Care as an NP or PA is requiredCompensation & Benefits Package : - Base guarantee- Paid time off with holidays accrued bi-weekly- CME reimbursement + days available per fiscal year- Opportunities to earn productivity and patient outcome / patient satisfaction bonuses- Sign on bonus and relocation assistance both availableCore Function : Provider

Education Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Nursing is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing PLUS 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Doctoral degree in Nursing is preferred.

Experience Qualifications

  • Experience in management of patients across the care continuum preferred.

    • Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

  • Licensed in the state of practice as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required.
  • Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or
  • Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
  • Board certification from the National Certification Corporation is preferred.
  • Controlled Substance license in state of practice is preferred.
  • Federal DEA license is preferred.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred.
