Custom clearance compliance Officer will be responsible for developing, managing and monitoring compliance policies and procedures to ensure the company’s operations align with legal and regulatory requirements . This individual will play a critical role in risk management, policy enforcement, and corporate governance.

Job Description

Regulatory Compliance and Monitoring

  • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure the organization stays compliant with the laws and regulations
  • Act as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies, ensuring timely reporting and resolution of compliance matters

Program Review and Development

  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs, policies, and procedures
  • Analyze new and changing laws and regula ons that impact the company’s business and advise senior management accordingly
  • Review compliance risk assessments and determine if current processes control risk
  • Training and Internal Education

  • Drafting and maintaining employee training for compliance
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance-related policies and best practices
  • Ensure all staff understand and comply with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Compliance Reporting and Documentation

  • Create, maintain, and update reporting of compliance tests and risk assessments
  • Prepare reports to the executive leadership on compliance status
  • Qualifications

  • 5+ years of regulatory compliance experience, including at least one year of experience as a senior compliance officer at a mid-to-large size company (100+ employees).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements related to imports, customs, and FinCEN. Fashion industry experience preferred .
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Experience communicating and interacting with regulatory agencies and regulatory affairs
  • Experience in conducting training sessions and developing compliance frameworks
  • English / Korean Bilingual
  • Certified Compliance Professional or other compliance related certification
