Bachelor’s degree in Education, valid state Teaching license or certification, and 1+ years Teaching experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An elementary school in Zion, IL is seeking an EL Resource Teacher for grades 3-5 for the current school year. This contract position runs from January 6, 2026, through June 2, 2026, with a part-time schedule of 32.5 hours per week.

Ideal candidates will hold a Professional Educator License (PEL) and possess either an ESL or Bilingual endorsement. Experience teaching general education and ESL students is highly valuable in this role.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide targeted English language support and instruction to EL students in grades 3-5
• Collaborate with general education teachers to differentiate curriculum and address diverse learning needs
• Implement language acquisition strategies to improve student proficiency and academic achievement
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation of instructional activities
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment supporting bilingual learners
