Job Description

A hospital system in South Jersey is currently seeking a Rheumatologist for a promising opportunity with their growing team.

About the Opportunity :

  • Schedule : Monday to Friday
  • Hours : Standard business
  • Setting : Outpatient
  • Call : 1 : 6 weeks, will do inpatient rounding this week

Responsibilities :

The Rheumatologist will be responsible for :

  • Evaluate, diagnose and provide appropriate treatment and patient care
  • Diagnosing and treating various rheumatology disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, gout, vasculitis, lupus, tendonitis, scleroderma, osteoporosis, myositis, and more
  • Recommend and order lab tests including X-rays of the joints to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition
  • Prescribe anti-inflammatory drugs and other medications
  • Participate in medical staff educational programs and meetings
  • Perform other duties as needed

    • Qualifications :

  • Current unrestricted NJ medical license
  • BE / BC in Rheumatology (MD / DO)
