About the Role

As a Project Management Contractor supporting the Data Organization at 8am, you'll help transform how our data teams deliver impact across the business. You will serve as a critical operational partner driving clarity, focus, and accountability across key initiatives in data engineering, analytics, and science.

You'll manage project workflows, coordinate deliverables, and ensure the seamless execution of the data roadmap. From organizing sprints and managing Asana and Jira boards to preparing executive status reports, your work will keep the team aligned and performing at its best.

We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive professional who thrives in dynamic, fast-moving environments. You'll bring structure to complexity, communicate with precision, and help the team stay focused on what matters most delivering data solutions that drive business growth.

What You'll Do

• Organize and track key data initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities and timelines.
• Develop and maintain clear project plans, milestones, and deliverables across multiple workstreams.
• Lead agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, stand-ups) to drive focus, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Manage priorities across Asana and Jira, ensuring visibility of team progress and removing blockers.
• Facilitate cross-functional communication between data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders across product and leadership teams.
• Prepare and deliver regular status reports, highlighting progress, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support the implementation of best practices in project governance, prioritization, and documentation.
