This role is essential in delivering compassionate care to patients, following physician's orders and departmental protocols. You will work autonomously in both acute and critical care environments while collaborating with healthcare teams to provide optimal patient outcomes across all age groups, including infants, children, adults, and seniors.

Accountabilities
Position Overview
This role is non-management and will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.
Minimum Requirements
Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program or eligibility for license in South Carolina; must be nearing graduation if a senior student.
Certifications / Registrations / Licenses
Must be licensed in South Carolina or eligible for licensure; BLS certification is required. Candidates must maintain NBRC credentials. Employees hired before June 2016 may hold Certified Respiratory Therapist status. New hires since June 2016 are required to pass the Therapist Multiple Choice Exam at the Registered Therapist level and complete the Clinical Simulation Exam within six months of graduation, or face termination.
NRP and PALS certification is required for work in the Children's Hospital, especially in NICU and PICU.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Strong teamwork, communication, computer, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
