Position Title: Systems Analyst I

POSITION SUMMARY
The primary goal of the Systems Analyst I is to ensure the continuing functionality of Tarzana
Treatment Centers, Inc. (TTC) mission critical software. The position is responsible for the development, configuration, installation, and administration of specifically assigned mission-critical software applications. The Systems Analyst receives supervision and task assignments from the QA Supervisor. The Systems Analyst will support and troubleshoot software application problems; work with vendors; assist in the selection and evaluation of products and vendors; and handle day-to-day administration of mission critical applications. The Systems Analyst will act as a key source of customer support for assigned applications.

CATEGORIES OF DUTIES
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot scripts or small programs to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency using programming languages such as Python, Typescript, or similar tools.
- Collaborate with the QA team and others to design and implement custom software solutions as needed.
- Troubleshoot assigned software applications.
- Maintain Mission Critical applications at peak performance and tuning, minimizing potential for network down-time.
- Engage in proactive measures to ensure stable and effective Mission Critical software operations.
- Establish and maintain proper technical documentation and troubleshooting procedures.
- Maintain the awareness of key technologies to ensure optimal use of resources.
- Facilitate the deployment and configuration of certain software applications.
- Install operating systems, email accounts, IP addresses, web browser installation, local workstation network configuration and software configuration as needed.
- Maintain a database of network, software and user configuration.
- Accompany installing vendor’s technician during on-site service when necessary and when possible limiting the amount of time for outsourced consultants’ costs.
- Prepare procedural documentation, checklists, training materials and standards documents to ensure a high-quality of service delivery and maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Thoroughly document problems and steps to resolve them, to maximize institutionalization of knowledge.
- Follow standardized procedures to deliver services in an organized, effective manner to ensure customers perceive Information Technology staff as thorough, well-prepared and punctual.
- Thoroughly test all work, and involve the client in acceptance testing to ensure their needs are met.
- Train Tarzana staff on use of key software applications.
- Record time spent on each request, task and project step in the QA Department’s current task assignment system.
- Attend all QA Department Meetings. Other duties as assigned by Department Director or the TTC CEO
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Typescript or similar) for automation, scripting, or application support.
- Experience writing, debugging, and maintaining scripts or small programs to support IT operations is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems with speed.
