A hospital is seeking a neurologist for locum tenens coverage.

About the Clinician's Workday

The locum provider will work with EMR : Cerner. Assignment requires an MD or DO; a tele-physician is not acceptable. The facility has a telestroke program and treats adults only. Board Certification is preferred, especially for Gwinnett, where experience is highly valued. Shifts will be from 8a-5p. The provider can expect to see 12-18 patients per day and handle new consults, inpatient neurology needs, stroke alerts, and rounding. Two Neurohospitalists typically cover M-F volume, and one covers weekends; there is no APP supervision.
