Nursing Team Member

As a member of the nursing team with Corewell Health, providing top-notch patient care is paramount. You'll be responsible for the care of our patients according to their individual plans, unit routines, and hospital policies. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Essential Functions

• Provides direct patient care under the direction of the Unit Manager or Licensed Nurse, consistent with policies and procedures of the unit.
• Responsible for direct day-to-day care of assigned residents / patients including dressing, bathing, transporting and feeding.

Documents care provided as directed in a manner consistent with guidelines.

Maintains patients' environment / work area / equipment, and communicates any equipment malfunctions to the appropriate department / unit personnel.

Complete and maintain required number of CNA educational hours.

Participation in select unit quality monitoring activities under the direction of the Unit Manager or Nurse Leader.

Qualifications

Required :

Completion of State of Michigan approved CNA Training Course

CRT-Nursing Assistant - Michigan Department of Licensing & Regulatory Affairs, Bureau of Community and Health Systems within 90 days

CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days or

CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days
