Description :

Seeking a Registered Nurse for an Outpatient Clinic.

Position involves working with the adult sickle cell population.

Chronic illnesses include chronic kidney disease, diabetes, hypertension, and cardiac disease.

Responsibilities include acute sickle cell crisis management.

Duties involve administering intravenous fluids, pain medications, and blood transfusions.

Staffing ratios are 1 : 3.

Experience in a similar outpatient setting preferred.

Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

RTO must be provided at the time of submission.

Candidates will not be considered for multiple positions simultaneously.

No on-call or float requirements associated with this position.

Emergency response assignments may be required during hurricane season.

Travel experience is needed.

Candidates should be effective in interdisciplinary support roles.

A daily census of approximately 8 patients is expected, with an average of 12 visits per day.

Use of specific medical equipment, including IV pumps, is necessary.

All nurses must adhere to uniform color guidelines.
