Role Overview:

Could you be our next Actuarial Assistant?Globe Life is looking for an Actuarial Assistant to join the team!

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing new life insurance products across multiple corporate subsidiaries. This position combines technical actuarial expertise with cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful product development, regulatory compliance, and operational integration throughout the organization.

This is a hybrid position located in McKinney, Texas (WFH Monday & Friday, In Office Tuesday-Thursday).

What You Will Do:

• Implement new life insurance products for multiple subsidiaries across the corporation.
• Collaborate with the administration systems teams to ensure proper product installation.
• Conduct comprehensive testing and review processes to verify that products will be issued and maintained as expected.
• Prepare regulatory filing documents for insurance departments.
• Handle objections and communications with state insurance departments.
• Ensure compliance with actuarial-related insurance regulations.
• Work cooperatively with teams outside the Actuarial Department.
• Explain new products and provide technical support to Sales, Marketing, and other corporate departments.
• Assist Legal, Policy Service, and Claims departments with various actuarial calculations, including loans, misstatements, reinstatements, and premiums.
• Expand technical actuarial skills, including nonforfeiture fundamentals.
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of the corporation's current and in-force life product portfolio and contracts.
• Identify opportunities to improve current processes and procedures.
• Perform complex mathematical calculations and analysis as required.
• Maintain reliable and predictable attendance with full-time availability.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple projects.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

What You Can Bring:

• Undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field.
• Minimum two years of actuarial experience.
• 2 SOA exams passed (FM Financial Mathematics exam is preferred).
• Working towards becoming an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (A.S.A.).
• Demonstrate the mathematical ability required.
• Strong experience with Excel required.
• Organizational and prioritization skills are crucial.
• Ability to improve current processes.
