The Opportunity :

CACI is currently seeking a Systems Engineer. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team. This position is located on-site at our facility in Melbourne, Florida, with occasional overnight travel to our office in Fairfax, Virginia and / or other locations as needed to support customer activities.

Responsibilities :

The selected candidate will be responsible for design, development, modification, and evaluation of complex signals intelligence, radar, and communications prototype development systems. The candidate will be instrumental in the system engineering and advanced research and development associated with designing of products during pre-delivery design, integration, and acceptance. Duties will include technical responsibility for planning and executing technical programs, projects, or phases of projects to include customer interface, requirements development, design reviews, and technical interchanges, and all aspects of prototype / product system design, development, demonstration, and evaluation.

Qualifications : Required :

• Must be able to obtain a TS / SCI security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, System Engineering Computer Engineering, Physics, or another relevant field
• 5+ years’ experience developing and implementing real-time system architectures for one or more of the following applications :
• signal detection, geolocation, modulation / demodulation of modern digital communication waveforms direction-finding, beamforming, adaptive array processing, radar range and Doppler processing, spread-spectrum, and / or MIMO communications

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is :

$70,900 - $148,900
