    • About the Role

    The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Facilities and Campus Operations to provide strategic leadership in the management of the physical infrastructure and safety operations. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader with a strong technical background, proven project management skills, and a commitment to operational excellence. Key responsibilities include supervising the Director of Campus Safety and Security and the Facilities Director, overseeing critical functions that support the company's mission, and enhancing the campus environment. The role also involves serving as the principal liaison for all capital projects, developing and managing a strategic 5-year capital plan and budget, and ensuring the successful execution of projects in compliance with quality standards. Applicants for the Associate Vice President position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, business administration, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in facilities management, operations, or project management. A significant portion of this experience should be in a supervisory or management capacity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the construction trades, including mechanical systems and construction, and a proven track record in competitive procurement, contract negotiation, and vendor management. A Master's degree and relevant professional certifications are preferred. The role requires a candidate with strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, who can effectively manage departmental budgets and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
