Muffled Voices is an international opera festival produced by Lyrica Classic , a global 501(c)(3) nonprofit music organization. The festival celebrates and stages operas by women composers — works that have been historically silenced or overlooked — and brings their stories to audiences worldwide.
Our next U.S. season will open November 22, 2025, in Maryland with two powerful chamber operas, including the U.S. premiere of Baruch’s Silence , based on a Holocaust diary. We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Arts Administrative Assistant to support our work starting immediately through the end of the year, with a minimum three-month commitment.
What You’ll Do (you can apply for one or more of these areas)
- Assist with scheduling, document preparation, and email correspondence.
- Help coordinate rehearsals, meetings, and logistics for artists and production teams.
- Maintain project files and track deadlines.
- Support grant and sponsorship outreach with basic research or follow-up communications.
- Assist with box office coordination and audience services.
What We’re Looking For
Strong organizational and communication skills.Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive); experience with project management tools is a plus.Attention to detail and ability to work independently.Interest in the performing arts, cultural events, or nonprofit work.Why Join Us?
