About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified PCU RN in Springfield, Illinois, 62702!

• Special Requirements : Required Work Setting Experience : Telemetry, Neuro Stepdown, PCU / DOU / IMC / Stepdown. Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response Skills / Experience : Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams. Required Cardiovascular Skills / Experience : Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre / Post Cardiac Cath, Pre / Post Cardiac Surgery, Sheath Removal, TR Band. Required Gastrointestinal Skills / Experience : Feeding tube care and management. Required Genitourinary / Renal Skills / Experience : Pre / Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure. Required IV therapy / Phlebotomy Skills / Experience : Accessing Ports, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care / management, Phlebotomy, Peripheral Line Care / Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs. Required Medication Skills / Experience : Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration, PCA, Procedural Sedation Administration, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips. Required Neurological / Psychiatric Case Experience : Craniotomy, CVA, Pre / Post neurosurgery, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury. Required Orthopedics Case Experience : Ortho Trauma, Peripheral nerve block catheters, Total Joint Replacements. Required Plastic Surgery Case Experience : Skin grafts, Surgical drains. Required Respiratory Skills / Experience : Care of Ventilated Patient, Chest tubes-Emerson / Pleur-evac, External CPAP / BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of ABGs, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Non-invasive airway management, Tracheostomy Management. Required Professional Topics and Skills : Isolation Precautions, Wound Care / Wound Vac. Cerner experience preferred. Teaching hospital experience preferred. Level I Trauma Experience preferred.
