Floor Technician - Part-Time
We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Floor Technician to support our growing operations in the Phoenix area. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in professional floor care, understands how to handle a variety of flooring types, and can operate all major floor-care equipment with confidence. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality results and has a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform strip and wax services with precision and efficiency
- Conduct carpet extraction and cleaning, including stain treatment and restoration work
- Provide upholstery cleaning services as needed
- Perform scrub and refinish services on VCT and other hard floor surfaces
- Safely operate and maintain floor-care equipment, including :
Burnishers
Auto scrubbersExtractorsBuffersWet / dry vacuumsInspect equipment prior to use and report maintenance needsEnsure proper use of chemicals and follow all safety protocolsMaintain a clean, organized work area and uphold company standards of qualityCommunicate effectively with supervisors and clients regarding project progressQualifications
Minimum 23 years of experience as a floor tech (commercial preferred)Strong skillset in strip & wax, carpet extraction, scrub & recoat, and upholstery cleaningAbility to operate all major floor-care machines with little to no supervisionReliable transportation and valid driver's licenseAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periodsStrong work ethic, professionalism, and attention to detailAvailability for evening or weekend work depending on project schedulesSchedule & Compensation
