Manager Of Facilities Operations

Adventist Healthcare seeks to hire an experienced Manager of Facilities Operations for Shady Grove Medical Center who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Manager of Facilities Operations, you will :

Have an understanding of the building's design and equipment needs. Assign and track the maintenance of equipment such as HVAC, refrigeration, electricity, plumbing, and elevators is required along with knowledge of medical equipment, and grounds keeping.

Manage hazardous materials, manage compliance with the Life Safety Code, coordinating with doctors and departmental managers, developing programs to manage healthcare and utilities assistance equipment, create deferred maintenance schedules, and participate in emergency training and drills.

Be involved with the design or renovation of the building by soliciting and evaluating contractor bids, consulting with architects, engineers, and other contractors.

Provide appropriate leadership skills to manage staff effectively and within the guidelines of AHC culture.

Qualifications include :

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent years of experience
  • Minimum 4 years' experience as supervisor
  • CHFM certificate required within 4 years
  • Healthcare facility experience strongly preferred

Work Schedule : Monday-Friday

Pay Range :

$83,112.12 - $124,675.20

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.

Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this position is classified as : United States of America (Exempt)
