Medical Assistant - Float
Provides medical assistance to members and assists with meeting their healthcare needs. Services include assisting in examination and treatment of members (patients) under the direction of a physician, nurse practitioner or designee. Assists with interviewing members, measures vital signs under the direction of a psychiatrist or nurse practitioner, and records information in members' electronic medical record on the day of service. Assists with coordination of health care needs of members to include primary care provider (PCP) coordination, coordinating provider appointments, follow up, obtaining medical records, and communicating and documenting member needs and information to the treatment team. Available to support all members needs at any clinic as assigned.
All members of our team are expected to provide support and services in accordance with the Nine Guiding Principles for Recovery Oriented Adult Behavioral Health Services and Systems and practice in a manner that is consistently mindful of the 12 Principles of The Arizona Vision for Children.
