HVAC / Mechanical Estimator

Your Key Responsibilities :

As a Mechanical Piping Estimator, you will :

  • Estimate mechanical piping costs for a variety of commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.
  • Work closely with project teams, including engineers, VDC (BIM) designers, schedulers, foremen, customers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Review plans, perform material take-offs, and prepare accurate cost estimates for mechanical piping systems.
  • Manage RFIs, change orders, and submittals to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
  • Provide support and mentorship to junior team members while collaborating with Senior Project Managers.

    • Your Qualifications :

    To succeed in this role, you should have :

  • 5+ Years of HVAC Estimating / Project Management Experience : Strong background in mechanical piping estimation and project management.
  • Diverse Project Portfolio : Experience in commercial, industrial, and institutional mechanical / piping / HVAC projects.
  • Estimation Expertise : Ability to prepare accurate cost estimates, review specifications, and manage bids and proposals.
  • Industry Awareness : Knowledge of current industry trends and standards to remain competitive.
  • Bachelor’s Degree  preferred in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Effective Communication Skills : Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills for working with teams and clients.
  • Code and Specification Knowledge : Familiarity with energy codes, project specifications, and local building codes.
  • Organizational Skills : Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records of completed estimates.
