A role in Global Supply Planning means ensuring that the supply, capacity, and production plans are established in conjunction with demand plans and manufacturing processes to meet business needs. The role will ensure that capacity is available to manufacture the right product, at the right time and in the right location. The role is one of the key links between the manufacturing factories, Global Sourcing, Product Development and Design, Planning & Inventory Management, Finance, and Supply Chain. This new capability is still being scaled, which allows for creative thinking and leadership opportunities.
As a Global Supply Planning Manager, Food & Beverage, you will work with cross-functional teams to build supply plans for business partners who support Target Owned Brands within our Dairy category. You will lead long-range strategic planning routines to ensure the business is manufacturing with the right business partner matrix & country of production footprint. You will drive regular production planning routines to ensure vendors have supply available to ship On Time & In Full. You will play a key strategic problem-solving role, partnering with both business partners and internal stakeholders including Planning & Inventory Management, Supplier Management, and Sourcing. You will drive continuous improvement of inputs & outputs to the supply planning process in service of sales growth, reliability, and flexibility. As a newer capability within Owned Brand Sourcing and Development, you will help develop supply planning processes technology, and interaction models specific to the temperature control business. You will have an opportunity to make a broad scope impact at a pyramid level and work with stakeholders in Minneapolis and overseas.

For local team members, this position will require a minimum of 3 days in our Minneapolis HQ location. In office requirements may evolve in accordance with internal policies.
About you :
This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid (known internally at Target as "Flex for Your Day") work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at a Target location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year. A Hybrid / Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role may be performed either remote or onsite at a Target location depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target. Team Members in the Target General Merch Inc operating company are prohibited from working more than thirty (30) days per calendar year in any of the following states : AL, AR, DE, FL, IN, IA, LA, MD, MS, MO, NC, OK, PA, SC, TN and VA. If hired, you will be prohibited from working remotely from any of the states listed above for more than thirty (30) days per calendar year.
