Our client a premier AmLaw 50 firm is seeking a talented and motivated Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join its Private Investment Funds (PIF) Group within the Private Equity Practice with a particular focus on secondary and liquidity transactions . This is an exceptional opportunity to work on sophisticated market-shaping secondaries and co-investment deals for top-tier private equity sponsors fund managers and secondary investors operating in the global private capital markets.

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in New York in good standing or eligibility to obtain admission promptly
• 36 years of substantive experience in private investment funds or private equity transactions
• Experience advising on and managing significant components of secondary transactions for private equity sponsors and secondary investors
• Familiarity with general fundraising co-investments and other fund-related transactions is a plus
• Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex fund and transaction documents with precision and commercial insight
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and coordinate across client and internal teams
• Prior experience at an AmLaw 100 or similarly sophisticated firm required
• Soft Skills : Exceptional communication analytical and client management skills; thrives in a collaborative high-performance team environment
