$200,000 Per Year Practicing Half the Month in Bakersfield, CA

Job Overview: Accelerated Urgent Care has been voted Best Urgent Care 8 years in a row in Bakersfield, CA. We are hiring Physician Assistants and Family Nurse Practitioners in Bakersfield, CA.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Urgent Care Medicine practices twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break.
• Full-time is 12 shifts per month and 2 on-call shifts per month.
• Treat 4 patients per hour, from newborns to geriatrics (full-spectrum care), in a low-acuity setting.
• Bread & Butter Procedures: I&Ds, Toenail Removal, and Laceration Repair.
• Equipment: In-house Point-of-Care testing and X-ray. All X-rays are over-read by a Board-Certified Radiologist, with results available within 20 minutes for routine orders.
• Easy-to-use EMR with Dragon dictation and document all patients in one minute

Job Type: Full-time and Part-time

Salary: $85/hr. plus OT with full benefits and a 401(k)

Bonuses: $10,000 Sign-on and a $20,000 Annual Retention

Minimum Requirements | Qualifications:

• Completion of a formal MSN FNP Program or MS in Health Sciences, Physician Assistant Studies
• CA Medical License that is active and in good standing
• DEA Certificate
