job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional demeanor. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor entrances, exits, and critical areas to help to deter potential threats and suspicious behavior. Maintain detailed logs and reports of security-related activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences. Collaborate with healthcare staff and / or law enforcement as necessary to address incidents or emergencies. Support access control procedures by verifying identification and / or credentials of individuals entering the facility. Remain alert to potential hazards or security-related risks within the healthcare environment and report concerns promptly. Carry and be prepared to use authorized equipment and / or firearms in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements. Must possess a valid Armed Guard Card or license as required by local regulations. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and / or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
