Work Hours : Full Time 40 hours; Monday–Friday, 10 : 30 AM – 7 : 00 PM
Sign-On Bonus : for eligible CT Technologist’s (eligible upon hire with a signed retention agreement)

Education
Other Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology required OrAssociate's Degree preferredOther- CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency requiredExperience

Imaging Procedures, Quality and Processing
Explains procedures to patient or guardian / family member if applicable prior to examPositions patient to correct anatomical area of interestPerforms complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerationsAdjusts technique parameters appropriately for age related factorsAssists radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic techniqueMaintains attention to detailsProcesses and manipulates images, analyzes image quality, troubleshoots, makes technique adjustments or repeat procedures as needed 8. Utilizes proper downtime procedures for PACS and HIS / RISCorrectly sends and transfers images to PACSPrints laser images from modality or PACSCoordinates with Centralized Scheduling and other modalitiesPatient Care
Uses multidisciplinary, team oriented actionsAssesses and recognizes the patient's emotional, physical, developmental, cognitive and psychosocial conditionsPrepares room for examination (i.e. suction, oxygen, supplies)Checks physician orders and exam requisitions using time-out proceduresGreets and acknowledges patient, using two forms of IDObtains patient historyHandles patients with IVs, oxygen, chest tubes or other devices, and monitor patient during imagingDemonstrates knowledge of emergency drugs and equipmentUses proper body mechanics when assisting patientAdministers contrast media and other medications in accordance with medication administration guidelinesProcesses patient information, displays proper phone etiquette and transports patients as neededCommunicates respectfully with co-workers and other departmentsEquipment Operation and Maintenance
