Key Responsibilities

• Appointment Scheduling :
• Log requests for offsite and diagnostic studies.
• Maintain chronic clinic logs and ensure appointments align with DOC protocols.
• Coordinate and schedule onsite specialty appointments (e.g., X-ray, physical therapy, medical-surgical subspecialties).
• Data Management :
• Update medical diet lists as needed.
• Collect data from ER logs, segregation logs, and other sources for monthly Quality Improvement (QI) reporting.
• Maintain a roster or appointment book for all scheduled appointments, both onsite and offsite.
• Administrative Support :
• Assist staff in issuing and tracking minor medical equipment (e.g., heating pads).
• Answer telephones, take messages, and make calls as needed.
• Type correspondence, reports, and memorandums as required.
• Order, receive, and maintain office supplies.
• General Duties :
• Support supervisors and the Health Services Administrator with other related duties as requested.
