Volt is immediately hiring a CMM Programmer in Irvine, CA

As a CMM Programmer you will :

• The purpose of the CMM Operator is to operate / program the Zeiss CMM.
• This position will operate inspection programs through Calypso software to measure in-process and final assemblies to GD&T blueprint requirements.
• Runs multiple CMM's using CALYPSO software.
• Tests and measures products, components, or assemblies for accuracy.
• Cleans, maintains and monitors CMM equipment and instruments to ensure proper function.
• Marks items for acceptance or rejection and records inspection / test data.
• Operates basic measurement equipment : Caliper, Micrometer, Dial indicator, Fixed Gages, Surface Plate equipment, digital meters.
• Interfaces with ERP system and basic computer utility programs.
• Meets minimum productivity levels established by management and maintained by department manager (productivity standards may vary depending on various factors including part type, and employees may be rated compared to others working on the same parts)
• Adheres to all Department and Company policies and procedures

Pay Range : $38.00 to $40.00 per hour.
