About the Role

As a Booster Lead, you are responsible for developing, implementing, and managing operations processes and systems to ensure a high level of efficiency and Booster customer satisfaction. The role requires excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to lead a team of operations personnel.

What You'll Do

  • Leading and motivating the team's performance with the below responsibilities :
  • Be an advocate of the team for Operations by implementing solutions and creating team buy-in.
  • Validate Fuel Logs and BOL's.
  • Review routes with leadership to set the team up for success.
  • Be a champion of the Perfect Boost and complete field audits
  • Tanker assignments, knowledge, and daily preparedness
  • Be the team's first point of contact for escalations while maintaining a high level of performance in the field

Pay Range : $32-$38 / hr

  • OSHA regulations and standards that pertain to fuel delivery and tanker compliance
  • Licenses and Credential :

  • Possess a valid Class A, B, or C commercial driver's license
  • Tanker and Hazmat endorsements required
  • At least 12 months at Booster or 2 year prior commercial driving experience with fuel company
  • 4000+ fuelling hours
  • Obtain a DOT physical, background check, and TSA clearance, TWIC card.
  • Able to obtain access to Terminal / s for loading fuels.
  • Carding requirements for appropriate customer fueling
  • Physical Requirements :

  • 80 to 150+ individual vehicle fills per shift
  • Consistently be able to push, pull and lift 50 lbs throughout the shift.
  • Capable of high-volume repetitive body motion of getting in and out of tanker vehicles, under various weather conditions.
  • Must be able to climb stairs repeatedly throughout the shift
  • Agility of hands and fingers to operate equipment such as fuel pump nozzles; constant pulling and reeling of hoses and equipment.
  • Mechanical :

  • An SP Lead can identify that something is wrong with my fuel tanker and understand how to describe the problem and who the issues need to be escalated to and what to do next e.g. Air compressor, PTO, Optimus not connecting, e-brake not set, Hydraulic systems, Pump systems, oil levels, meters
  • An SP Lead can troubleshoot exactly what is going on within the vehicle and escalate
  • Technology :

  • Advanced knowledge of app based technology : Slack / Ipad / Kobra / Deputy (Scheduling system), Optimus.
  • Advanced understanding of tablet / equipment use, wireless communication and routing / navigating apps.
  • Additional Requirements :

  • Meets SPII requirements
  • Mastery of DOT rules and regulations
  • Advance knowledge of Booster Policies and procedures
  • Troubleshoot tanker / route issues with minimal guidance, and demonstrate mastery of fuel delivery methods
  • Capable of teaching new SPs about Booster's processes, procedures and technology.
  • No active Booster safety violations on record
  • Behavioral attributes :
