Backend Software Engineer : Java (Big Data)

W2 Contract

Salary Range : $114,400 - $135,200 per year

Location : Cupertino, CA - Remote Role

Requirements and Qualifications :

• 5-7+ years of current proficiency in Java building services at a large scale in a Big Data environment
• Expertise in Distributed Systems & object-oriented programming is required
• Application deployment using Kubernetes, Docker
• Experience building client & server APIs using JSON, GRPC, and REST, Swagger / OpenAPI
• Experience with Cassandra, MongoDB, Redis, Zookeeper
• Experience & knowledge of Prometheus (integrating metrics into Prometheus) and Open Telemetry
• Experience with Maven, Gradle, Jersey, Jackson, Spring Boot, Junit
• Experience with MacOS, IntelliJ, Git / GitHub
• Have familiarity and are comfortable working with a MacBook
