An Internal Medicine Physician is sought for a locum assignment in Harris County, TX, providing general medicine services with options for part-time and full-time work. Responsibilities include conducting interview-based examinations and some physical assessments related to musculoskeletal, diabetes, and cardiovascular conditions. The ideal candidate is board certified or truly board eligible, holds a full and unrestricted TX medical license, and is proficient in METs testing and diagnosis of various medical conditions.

Our client in Harris county, TX is in need of a General Medicine Physician for a Locum assignment!

Job details :

• Start : ASAP
• Need is on a PRN basis, ongoing
• Willing to accept these specialties : family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, etc, or anyone with a background in general medicine
• Option to work days(4-hours) and / or full days(8-hours)
• One-Time non-treatment C&P exams + separation health assessments
• Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment : range of motion testing, muscle strength testing.
• DMA certification available (can get CME credits) will need to obtain once privileged if not already certified
• Familiar with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio required
