Requirements
Must have :
Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
Active and transferable U.S. government issued DoD Secret security clearance required before start date
U.S. citizenship is mandatory for security clearance eligibility
Proficiency in using and configuring Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating systems
Experience in developing scripts in BASH, Python, or Powershell
Familiarity with systems engineering encompassing System Requirements definition, System Test, and Analysis, as well as NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with coworkers, suppliers, stakeholders, and customers within a team setting
Leadership experience, either as a team leader or manager
Demonstrated ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness
Knowledge of earned value management and cost account management
Strong ability to write proposals and articulate security solutions in RFP responses
Cyber certifications in alignment with DoDD 8570 / DoDD 8140 such as CISSP, GSLC, CEH
Capability to perform security testing and validation, including automated vulnerability scanning (Nessus, STIG, Evaluate STIG, RADIX)
Experience leading scrum teams and utilizing Jira
Responsibilities
Direct the SSE team for the radar software maintenance contract – Collaborate with customers to outline SSE requirements and solutions, assess costs, and evaluate system impacts and effectiveness – Formulate plans and estimates, oversee task execution, manage project tracking, and establish risk identification and mitigation strategies – Spearhead the creation of Risk Management Framework (RMF) documentation for Authority to Operate (ATO) accreditation – Ensure adherence to National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) RMF security controls and National Security Agency (NSA) security mandates for radar – Provide consultation and support for program management regarding SSE architecture and related issues – Assist with the preparation of bids and proposals
