Travel Nurse RN - Med / Surg / Telemetry - $2,290 per week in Pleasant Prairie, WI

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Med / Surg / Tele Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : Minimum of 1 year of recent experience required. License : Wisconsin / Compact License required in hand. Certifications : BLS and NIHSS required in hand before start. Must-Have : Must be able to interpret and sign off tele strips. Must have two references with the last year and one reference from the most current assignment before start. Description : Shift is 3 shifts of 12 hours on nights. Patient ratios on days are 5. Patient ratios on nights are 6. Previous charge experience is preferred. Patients include adults and geriatrics. Daily census is 82 with 95 available beds. Staffing support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. Skills required include blood product administration, interpretation of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions, management of dysrhythmias, MS / Tele experience, nasal cannula management, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, peripheral line care / management, starting and maintaining IVs, and use of rapid response / code teams. Travel experience is required. Epic charting system experience is preferred. Background checks will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. Latex allergies cannot be accommodated.
