About the Role \n
We are seeking a CNC Department Lead / Advanced CNC Machinist who sets the pace for quality, efficiency, and problem solving on the shop floor. This person will lead day-to-day CNC operations, perform complex setups, and coach machinists in a modern, automated machining environment .

Key Responsibilities \n
\n
- Lead and coordinate daily CNC machining operations across assigned machines and product families
\n
Set up and troubleshoot multi-axis CNC lathes and INDEX Swiss machines from blueprints and job travelers\n
Serve as the go-to resource for tooling, offsets, and process troubleshooting\n
Collaborate with Engineering to optimize setups, standardize tooling, and improve cycle times\n
Train and mentor CNC machinists and operators on setup, operation, and inspection techniques\n
Utilize automation and robotics (bar feeders, robots, automation cells) to maximize spindle uptime\n
Perform in-process and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, indicators, and automated gaging\n
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 : 2015 standards and shop documentation\n
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and throughput\n \n
Qualifications \n
\n
5+ years of CNC machining experience , including advanced setups and troubleshooting\n
Proven blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills\n
Prior leadership or mentoring experience strongly preferred\n
Proficient with cutting tools, holders, tool grades, and improving tool life\n
Familiarity with automated inspection and gaging systems\n
Knowledge of ISO 9001 : 2015 requirements\n
CAD / CAM programming or editing experience preferred\n
Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting ability\n
High school diploma required; technical / trade certification preferred\n
Willingness to work overtime and complete pre-employment screening\n \n
Shift Options & Pay \n
DW Products offers flexible schedules and competitive pay based on experience and shift :

1st Shift (Full-Time) : Mon–Thurs, 6 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM\n
2nd Shift (Full-Time) : Mon–Thurs, 4 : 00 PM – 2 : 00 AM (Second-Shift Premium)\n
1st Shift (Part-Time) : Fri–Sun, 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 00 PM (Weekend Premium)\n
2nd Shift (Part-Time) : Fri–Sun, 3 : 00 PM – 11 : 00 PM (Weekend + Second-Shift Premiums)\n \n
Pay : Up to $37.00 / hour , depending on experience and shift
Hours : 40–44 per week (full-time)
