[job_card.job_description]Previous experience in insurance authorizations is advantageous Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance policies Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interactions with clients, providers and insurance representatives Ability to scrutinize documentation and ensure accuracy in records Capable of managing multiple requests simultaneously whilst adhering to strict deadlines to ensure our clients receive necessary services High school diploma minimum
Monday-Friday 8am-4.30pm (30min lunch)
Office : 11820 Cypress Corner Lane, Cypress, TX 77065
Key Responsibilities
- Confirm and review patient insurance coverage and eligibility for services before they are rendered
- Obtain pre-authorizations from insurance companies for services, ensuring all required information is submitted accurately and timely
- Liaise with families, healthcare providers and insurance representatives to facilitate the authorization process and resolve issues that arise
- Maintain accurate records of all authorization requests, approvals, and denials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Follow up on outstanding authorization requests to ensure timely decisions and facilitate client care
