Description

The Nurse Practitioner will see established patients in the clinic setting and provide direct patient care. This position requires patience, empathy, time management, and professionalism with patients, co-workers, and providers.

A clinical background in general medical practice

Requirements:

Job Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced scientific knowledge and skills to assess, plan, and implement appropriate health care to patients
• Will be responsible for ordering labs, imaging, procedures, therapy, and durable medical equipment as needed
• Will be responsible for medication management
• Review patient records and provide appropriate information to providers
• Efficiently document patient information in the electronic medical records system
• Respond to patient messages sent through our healthcare portal in a timely manner
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor

Job Requirements Education & Experience

• Current Alabama license in good standing

• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time without resting
