Adelphi is seeking licensed mental health clinicians to provide mental health support for pre- K5 students at a school in Waldorf, Maryland. The ideal candidates will be responsible for providing individual, group, and family therapy and staff consultation.

Requirements :

  • Have a master's degree or higher.
  • Relevant state of Maryland certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant service field.
  • Have experience working with children / adolescents and families.

    • Responsibilities :

  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling.
  • Deliver in-person behavioral health services to identified students.
  • Provide substance abuse prevention, early intervention, and referral resources.
  • Maintain high-quality documentation, notes, and service logs.
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with district data security requirements.
  • Consult regularly with teachers, school psychologists, counselors,social workers,and pupil personnel workers.
  • Attend relevant school meetings regarding students on caseload.
  • Communicate effectively and consistently with school and district staff.
  • Offer staff training on mental health topics including trauma-informed care and behavioral health needs.
  • Provide ongoing information on community-based resources for students and families.
  • Conduct monthly parent enhancement workshops.
  • Provide family communication and support as needed.
  • Participate in evening parent workshops when scheduled.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
