[job_card.job_description]Have a master's degree or higher. Relevant state of Maryland certification. Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant service field. Have experience working with children / adolescents and families. Provide individual, group, and family counseling. Deliver in-person behavioral health services to identified students. Provide substance abuse prevention, early intervention, and referral resources. Maintain high-quality documentation, notes, and service logs. Ensure confidentiality and compliance with district data security requirements. Consult regularly with teachers, school psychologists, counselors,social workers,and pupil personnel workers. Attend relevant school meetings regarding students on caseload. Communicate effectively and consistently with school and district staff. Offer staff training on mental health topics including trauma-informed care and behavioral health needs. Provide ongoing information on community-based resources for students and families. Conduct monthly parent enhancement workshops. Provide family communication and support as needed. Participate in evening parent workshops when scheduled. Perform other duties as assigned.
