Triad's metal fabrication area is in need of a CNC machine operator with at least three years of experience. The successful candidate will have experience in die / punch set up, sheet metal layout, blueprint reading, calipers, protractors, and tap measures as well as having good math skills. This position requires flexibility in work hours (first shift and potential overtime) and a willingness to work assignments in other areas as required.

Position Scope

Cuts product parts to size using CNC metal fabrication machines according to specified dimensions provided, to assure timely manufacturing of product to customer specification.

Position Duties and Responsibilities

  • Cuts parts according to specified dimensions provided.
  • Completes daily preventative maintenance on the machine.
  • Have the ability to take direction.
  • Assists in training of team members.
  • Assures that parts being moved from the machines are labeled correctly.
  • Other Duties

Cleans and organizes department's workstations.

  • Completes tasks delegated by Metal Fabrication Supervisor.
  • Asks questions / seeks advise from Supervisor when in doubt.
  • Follows procedures in company handbook and other documents.
  • Displays a sense of urgency towards completing assigned tasks.
  • Assures the part quality is acceptable.
  • Assists in developing solutions to problems.
  • Maintains good attendance.
  • Is dependable and displays a strong work ethic.
  • Works within a team concept and contributes to a positive work environment.
  • Demonstrates a professional attitude in approaching job assignment.
  • Assures the work area and aisles are kept clean and free of debris.
  • Maintains a safe work attitude and environment.
