Nurse Practitioner – Nephrology | Southern California | $165K+ Compensation | No Nights or Weekends

We're seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a background or strong interest in Nephrology to join a highly regarded, value-based care organization serving patients across Southern California . This position offers a consistent weekday schedule, professional growth within a collaborative care model, and the satisfaction of making a difference in the lives of patients with chronic kidney disease and related conditions.

Compensation : $133K–$166K base salary (commensurate with experience)

Bonus Eligible : Annual performance-based bonus

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 am–5 : 00 pm, no nights or weekends

Work Model : Primarily outpatient, with coverage across multiple clinic sites in the region

Patient Focus : Adults and geriatrics, including dialysis and chronic kidney disease populations

Collaborative Culture : Work alongside physicians, RNs, case managers, and care coordinators

Your Role

Perform comprehensive health assessments, physical exams, and risk evaluations

Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to guide care plans

Formulate and document individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians

Prescribe medications, therapies, and other treatments as appropriate

Evaluate patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed

Educate patients and families on disease management, prevention, and lifestyle modifications

Requirements

Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) required

Minimum 2 years of NP experience , ideally with exposure to nephrology or internal medicine

Current, unrestricted RN and NP licenses in California

Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner

Experience managing patients with chronic conditions strongly preferred

Bilingual in English / Spanish a plus
