Must Have Qualifications :
- Minimum 7 years of experience within building and general construction
- Minimum 5 years of experience within construction safety process management OR Bachelor's degree within safety (or related field) accompanying 3 years of professional field experience
- Must have practical knowledge, working experience, and document continuing education from the most recent 5 years - within in the following : fall protection, scaffolds, excavation, confined space, crane / equipment operations, electrical, incident investigation, and other such safety / health related training.
- OSHA certifications required : 10, 30, 510 and 500 (or 502)
- CPR and AED certified
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of job sites to identify potential hazards.Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures tailored to each project.Provide safety training and education to employees, subcontractors, and site visitors.Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incident reports.Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to integrate safety into all phases of construction.Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations.Promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability among all team members.Compensation :
$50 / hr to $55 / hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
