This Position is located in Denver, Colorado, but is open to fully remote candidates.

Title : Senior Tax Manager with Partner / Equity Shareholder Track

Salary : $150k to $200k + Bonus

Schedule : In-office is preferred, but we are open to hybrid or fully-remote candidates. Busy Season Hours range from 50 hours to 60 hours per week.

About the firm : This is a boutique public accounting firm located in Denver, CO, and a member of the BDO Alliance. This firm provides Advisory, Tax Compliance, and Accounting Services to small and mid-sized businesses across the country. Clients served are in the Real Estate, Construction, Manufacturing, and various other industries.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain effective client and staff relationships and actively participate in and manage client engagements – including presentations, planning, and execution.
• Prepare and review complex federal and multi-state tax returns and workpapers for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and corporations as well as estimated payments and extensions, and communicate directly with clients on various related matters.
• Proactively work with staff to ensure individual and business tax returns are completed accurately and on time while providing ongoing learning opportunities that encourage growth.
• Work with clients to gather relevant tax-related information from the client so an accurate tax return can be prepared.
• Conduct research and evaluate tax situations from various angles to ensure the maximum tax benefit is applied, enhancing business owner cash flows.
• Review and respond to federal and state inquiries and tax notices.
• Participate in collaboration between departments and alongside the executive team to ensure the firm continues its positive growth trajectory.
